Museum of the Western Prairie, 1100 Memorial Dr., depicts the history of Oklahoma's western prairie country from nomadic Native American inhabitance to urban and agricultural communities. A reconstructed half-dugout (a pioneer house that was built partially underground) and ranch headquarters are featured. A reference library contains many first-edition publications about the area. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
