Southern Plains Indian Museum, 801 E. Central Blvd. at SR 8, is operated by the Indian Arts and Crafts Board of the U.S. Department of the Interior. The center emphasizes Southern Plains Indian history and culture through permanent exhibits. Displays include beadwork, featherwork, metalwork, sculptures, basketry, carvings, skin sewing and hide paintings; changing exhibits showcase contemporary Native American art.
