Atoka Museum, Civil War Cemetery & Visitors Center

Atoka Museum, Civil War Cemetery & Visitors Center is at 2902 N. US 69. The museum houses exhibits of domestic furnishings from the early to mid-1900s, a school house display and medical instruments. Civil War-era weapons and uniforms are displayed along with memorabilia about hometown celebrities Reba McEntire and world champion bull rider Lane Frost. The cemetery was used when measles swept through a Confederate camp, killing many soldiers.
