Frank Phillips Home is at 1107 S.E. Cherokee Ave. The neoclassic mansion is the restored home of Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips Petroleum Co. Built 1908-09, the three-level house is noted for its collection of decorative arts. It is furnished with the family's original belongings, which have been placed in the home according to 1930 photographs; highlights include Philippine mahogany, handcrafted ceilings and Waterford crystal chandeliers. A permanent exhibit—Frank and Jane Phillips, Oklahoma Oil Pioneers—is in the garage. The Director's Tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at the house, including the basement and garden cottage.
