Jones and Plummer Trail Museum, s. on US 270 at the Beaver County Fairgrounds, 1107 Douglas Ave., commemorates a trail named for buffalo hunters who built it to haul buffalo hides, and later drive cattle, to Dodge. Displays chronicle the trail's history; exhibits include period handicrafts, clothing, furniture, implements and tools, prehistoric fossils, Native American relics, a ranch buggy, a 1904 windmill, an 1867 baby grand and historic wagons. There also is a one-room schoolhouse. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Tues.-Sat. 11-3, Sun.-Mon. by appointment. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
