Pioneer Heritage Townsite Center, 201 N. 9th St., is an outdoor village containing both original and replica buildings from early 1900s southwestern Oklahoma. Such structures as a church, schoolhouse, supply store and train depot are furnished in period.
An interactive exhibit showcases a restored Brush automobile similar to the one driven by Louis “Bud” and Temple Abernathy during their journey from New York City to Frederick in 1910.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
