Quality Hotel in Sapulpa, and...
Pros: I had a friend who was dying in Sapulpa. I was at his bedside from 2 p.m. until 11:30 that night and I was exhausted! My hotel booking, like most of them, was unplanned and at the last minute, because this trip was spontaneous. I wanted to be with my dying friend but I was exhausted and I had my little 8 year old who needed a place to sleep. I went to booking.com and saw that all Sapulpa hotel rooms were full. Glenpool was closest to my friend and his family. I was very thankful for a good clean hotel!! Scott passed early that morning. Finally, once I received the call, i was able to sink into that comfortable bed and rest.
We were only in Glenpool from midinight to noon the next day, which was long enough for us to sleep, eat breakfast and then buy the family some groceries before heading back to Sapulpa. It looked like there was a nice variety of restraunts to choose from, including all your basic fast foods establishments, then family faves like Cracker Barrel, IHOP and my favorites (if we had been in Glenpool for another reason and had more time to spare) Santa Fe Cattle Co and Red Rock Canyon Grill. For breakfast, we wanted to get back to the family, it was a Sunday morning and we had about 3 minutes before breakfast was “over” at the hotel. On schedule, the customer Rep began ro break down the breakfast very slowly, giving us time to eat something. She refilled the refrigerator with yogurt and the basket with fruit and even showed my son some love and encouragement because we had loss some one we cared about. She dodmt have to be so kind! She didn’t refill any hot food (and we certainly didn’t expect her too) but we also didn’t expect loving kindness and compassionate towards us. Mikey had questions about the City which the rep enthusiastically answered. It was very pleasant and we felt “cared for.”
Cons: I never like having to check in thru a window outside of hotels because it feels creepy and makes me feel unsafe and like an easy target, but I do understand the reasoning! The customer representative was readily available, processed us very quickly and she was also very kind. She turned what I “don’t like” into a pleasant experience.
