Oklahoma Aquarium is at 300 Aquarium Dr. Home to thousands of animals from around the world, the aquarium is divided into galleries that include the Siegfried Families Shark Adventure, where visitors can walk through a clear acrylic tunnel surrounded by 500,000 gallons of water and schools of sharks. Marvels & Mysteries houses seahorses, moon jellies and piranhas. Other unusual sea creatures can be found in the Amazing Invertebrates gallery, which includes sea stars, urchins and sponges. The Aquatic Oklahoma gallery contains native species such as alligator gar and turtles, while the Hayes Family Ozark Stream has otters, beavers and smallmouth bass.
The Extreme Fishes gallery illustrates how animals have adapted to their habitats. A variety of coastal environments are re-created in the EcoZone and Coral Reef gallery, which also features touch tanks. Children can crawl through tunnels under water at Extreme Amazon. Visitors can watch daily feeding shows; schedules are posted at the information desk.
