Oklahoma Hall of Fame at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum is at jct. N.W. 13th St. and Shartel Ave. at 1400 Classen Dr. The museum's Chickasaw Nation Oklahoma Through Its People gallery includes five interactive exhibits focusing on the state's heritage and its effect on the achievements and contributions of revered Oklahomans. The Tulsa World-Lorton Family Gallery features the works of Oklahoma artists in temporary exhibits. Built in 1927, the building was formerly home to the Mid-Continent Life Insurance Co.; a tour of the president's office as furnished in the 1920s is offered.

The museum site houses the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, which honors the accomplishments of nearly 700 individuals inducted since 1928, including Gene Autry, Reba McEntire, Mickey Mantle, Will Rogers and Jim Thorpe.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
