Science Museum Oklahoma is at 2020 Remington Pl. This science museum, a Smithsonian affiliate, features more than 350 interactive exhibits; thousands of space, aviation and cultural artifacts; and a planetarium.
Science Live! is a daily, live entertainment performance that engages the audience in scientific fun. A Segway course lets visitors ride one of these self-balancing vehicles and navigate an obstacle course. Gadget Trees is a gigantic tree house with one of the longest spiral slides in the country. Destination Space looks at the challenges of manned space exploration, while Tinkering Garage lets visitors be creative and build imaginative structures. Life-size items are used to build objects in Big Game Theory.
The 20,000-square-foot CurioCity exhibit features eight neighborhoods and more than 85 custom activities, including a walk-in kaleidoscope, an oversized music box and a kid-powered carousel. Rotating art gallery displays are located in smART Space. Traveling exhibits also are offered.
