Will Rogers Exhibition Center and Gardens is just w. off I-44 exit 123A at 3400 N.W. 36th St. Within the gardens are the Ed Lycan Conservatory, where visitors can enjoy a large cacti and succulent collection; the arboretum, planted mostly with trees native to Oklahoma, such as oaks, junipers, crab apples, crape myrtles and redbuds; a 2-acre color garden; irises, daylilies and peonies; and a bust of the state's favorite son on the east side of the lake. The azaleas are impressive when they bloom in the spring.
