Adams Corner Rural Village, entered through the Cherokee Heritage Center at 21192 S. Keeler Dr., is a detailed reconstruction of a small crossroads community dating 1875-90, the final years of the Old Cherokee Nation. A working general store is stocked with old-fashioned items as well as candy and snacks.
Audio stations describe skills such as quilting, woodworking and fingerweaving (a means of weaving items without using a loom). A farm features animals typical of this period.
