Hunter's Home Historic Site, 19479 E. Murrell Home Rd., is the restored 1845 residence of George M. Murrell, who married the niece of Cherokee Principal Chief John Ross. Although looted during the Civil War, the house is the only remaining antebellum plantation home in Oklahoma. It is furnished with many original pieces. A .7-mile nature trail accommodates wheelchairs.
