AAA Editor Notes
J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum, 330 N. J.M. Davis Blvd., houses a diverse collection of firearms, swords and knives; Western, Civil War-era and Native American artifacts; music boxes and musical instruments; steins; political buttons; statues; and World War I posters. More than 50,000 items are on display. A library provides reference works.

The area's Western heritage is remembered through displays of saddles, Stetsons, cattle brands and lariats as well as Native American pottery and arrowheads.

Antique musical instruments such as Victrolas and banjos are displayed as are 1,200 German beer steins and more than 600 World War I posters. A group of statuary art by late 19th-century sculptor John Rogers depicts vignettes of everyday life.
