Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Capitol Museum is off US 271N, following signs to 163665 N. 4355 Rd., in the former capitol building of the Choctaw Nation. The three-story, red-brick structure was completed in 1884 and houses exhibits of pottery, clothing, arrowheads and photographs illustrating the way of life of the Choctaw people. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Mon.-Sat. 8-4, Memorial Day-Labor Day; Mon.-Fri. 8-4, rest of year. Closed major holidays.
