Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park is off I-35 exit 64, then 1 blk. e. following signs to 25803 N. CR 3250. This 16-acre sanctuary shelters hundreds of exotic animals, most of which were rescued from cruelty and neglect. Among the animals that visitors can see are bears, bobcats, a camel, crocodiles, a leopard, ligers, lions, monkeys, tigers, wolves and zebras as well as domesticated animals. Plaques for some animals recount the often miserable circumstances in which they were found along with their physical condition at the time. Two-hour guided Endangered Animal tours are available. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$15; $10 (ages 3-12). Animal tour $35; $25 (ages 3-12).
Hours: Daily 9-7, second weekend in Mar.-first weekend in Nov.; 9-5, rest of year. Animal tour daily at 11:30 and 2:30; visitors should arrive 30 minutes prior to tour departure. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
