Chiefswood National Historic Site is at 1037 CR 54 on the Six Nations Reserve. The 1856 manor home was built by Mohawk Chief George H.M. Johnson as a wedding gift for his wife. In addition to personal belongings and furnishings depicting life in the late 19th century, exhibits chronicle the life and works of E. Pauline Johnson, Chief Johnson's youngest daughter and an acclaimed poetess.
