Massey Area Museum

Massey Area Museum, center of town at 150 Sauble St. (Hwy. 17), specializes in native, fur trade and local history. Models, tools and photographs from the logging era are displayed in its 8,000-square-foot space. Featured exhibits include a general store, schoolroom and chapel. Additionally there are farming and logging equipment, a 1907 fire department water pumper, pointer boat, pioneer domestic items, minerals, rocks and native artwork. Genealogy/cemetery and resource information also are available. Special events are held throughout the year.
