Mississippi Valley Textile Museum is at 3 Rosamond St. E. In part of a former woolen company building built in 1867, the museum has exhibits tracing mill history, as well as contemporary fiber art pieces. Visitors can see period mill equipment, some in working condition. The permanent exhibit, Fabric of a Small Town, uses videos, photographs and artifacts to depict textile production and the lifestyle of early millworkers.
