Rock Glen Conservation Area, 8680 Rock Glen Rd., reflects its location at a transition zone between the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence and the Carolinian Forest zones, offering abundant opportunities for fossil hunting. The 27-hectare (67-acre) recreation site includes lookouts above the 11-metre (36-ft.) falls, nature trails, boardwalks, and the Arkona Lions Museum and Information Centre, which has First Nations artifacts and fossils dating back 400 million years.
