AAA Editor Notes
Arnprior & District Museum, 35 Madawaska Blvd., is in the 1896 post office. Displays and artifacts illustrate the development of this lumbering settlement during the 19th century. A gallery of photographs of the town, local First Nations artifacts, Victorian displays, a train station, a fire engine, a dental office and bedrooms can be viewed.

$3.50; $2 (senior citizens and students with ID); free (ages 0-8); $9 (family).
Hours
Mon.-Sat. 11-4, mid-June to Sept. 1; Tues.-Fri. 11-4, in Apr.; Tues. 11-5, May 1 to mid-June; by appointment, rest of year. Allow 30 minutes minimum.
