AAA Editor Notes

North Hastings Heritage Museum is in the park on the York River, downtown on Station St. behind the post office. The museum, a log house built in 1879 for the Bronson Weston Lumber Co., was moved from its original site. Displayed are Victorian and pioneer items reflecting local history, dental and medical equipment from the old outpost hospital and an extensive mineral collection. Changing exhibits also are presented.
$4; $2 (ages 65+ and students ages 12+ with ID).
Hours: Daily 10-5, July 1-Labour Day.
