Pros: This is an amazing place to stay with your family. It's like your own little apartment and the pool is awesome for the kids!
Cons: If you have 2 children and a baby your have to upgrade to a bigger room and the price difference is huge! It was two hundred dollars more to bring all three children with us.
For the cost in mid-September (not peak season), there is room for improvement at this hotel. More catering to mountain bikers is recommended, and cheaper options for late check-out when a mountain bike event is being held at horseshoe valley would be needed before I would return.
Pros: Size of room (we used the 1 bedroom suite); availability of storage room for bikes)
Cons: Lighting in vestibule of room was poor (bulb was dead, no natural light); mold in shower stall; check-in took long time (big line up, few staff); had to drive to horseshoe bike trails (should instead have a connecting trail so no car needed).Noisy fridge.
Pros: Quit, nice people,no pets
Cons: Only one housekeeping per week? No Bar and Restaurant in the Resort
Pros: Close to skiing
Cons: Tried to sell me a timesharePool way over crowed . Poor wifi
Pros: We liked the facility!!
Cons: We stayed 4 nights and we had no housekeeping service. No clean towels or garbage taken out. This was awful considering we spent a lot of money, to extend our reservation one extra day they charged us 212.00. But not having the proper housekeeping service was very disappointing! We enjoy coming every year.
Great place, however reservations were...
Pros: Full kitchen. Living room. Comfort. Location to golf.
Cons: They did not have our reservations booked upon arrival.
Place is starting to need an update ie furniture, carpets etc need replacinf. Sofa bed is awful
Comfortable but dated.
Pros: The suite was spacious and was very comfortable.
Cons: We were in a building that was not renovated so the furnishings and style was very dated. Try to stay at one of the renovated buildings and then you'll really be getting a great unit.
Pros: The room and the location and the facility are very good.
Cons: The staff upon check-in were condescending and rude. They clearly tookadvantage of the fact that we were 20 years old. They treated us likechildren. We wanted to divide the cost of the room between the two ofus. They made an error as they were invoicing. They made it sound likeit was our mistake! When they realized it was theirs they certainlydidn't apologize.
had a good time
Pros: Great location close to the reason why we came up. The room was clean and it was very comfortable. The shower was great. They were very considerate of needing to be on a lower level with very little stairs.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated a little.
Calming country stay in decent...
Pros: I enjoyed the seclusion of the resort. It was nice to get out of the city and to relax in the country. It was nice to hear the chirp of the crickets and to see the stars at night. The pool is medium size, the hot tub was nice. The bed was comfortable and the bedding clean and comfy. It was nice that they provided dishes and kitchen wear so that you could easily have a BBQ and clean up after wards. It was convienient to have a shared laundry room. They provided us with bedding, towels, two laundry detergents, one mini dish soap, a sponge, a dish rag, a dish towel, an iron, an ironing board, dishes (plates, cups, bowls, utensils). There was a kettle, a toaster, a mini fridge, a cutting board and a microwave. You can gulf, horseback ride, zip line, hike, dirt bike, hummer adventure ride or play at horseshoe valley fun area with the family in the summer!
Cons: I did not like that there was only a stand up shower in all studios. The balconies and outside railings are in poor shape and chipping. There is a sign that they will be replaced in fall 2015, however for not it looks terrible. The pool was too shallow and there wasn't private rooms to change in the change rooms. The games room had very few choices in it and movies were $5 to rent for the evening (and they were not new releases). It you wanted to go out for dinner for a franchise restaurant that was affordable you had to drive 20-30 minutes away.
