In summer I enjoy sitting either on the front patio facing the quaint village stores, or out in the gardens admiring the fragrant bloom.
AAA Inspector Notes
Antiques, fresh flowers and fine artwork grace the warm, refined and relaxing dining room that overlooks lovely country gardens. Diners enjoy sophisticated and well-prepared cuisine that showcases the best of the season and the region. The chef takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary by using exotic garnishes with classic recipes. Fresh local whitefish is a treat as are halibut tacos with citrus salsa or Great Lakes perch. Outdoor patio dining and light lunch selections also are featured. Lighter fare does not mean less impressive, with features such as a charcuterie board with Parma ham, rabbit rillettes and spicy chorizo or Sardinian-style mussels. The chef also creates seasonal desserts that are sure to delight.
