Beaver River Museum is at 284 Simcoe St. at Centennial Park. Three restored 19th-century buildings—a stone jail, a settler's log cabin and a brick farmhouse—help depict local history. All contain period furniture and artifacts. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
Hours: Wed.-Mon. 1:30-4, July-Aug.; Sat.-Sun. 1:30-4, Victoria Day weekend-June 30 and in Sept.
