Cabot Head Lighthouse and Heritage Building is off Hwy. 6 Dyer's Bay Rd. exit to the end of the road, then following signs on a gravel shore road to the entrance. The 1896 lighthouse houses a museum with historical exhibits about the lighthouse and the people who lived there. There also are nautical and boat displays and a nature room with information about indigenous birds and wildlife.

A walk to the top of the lighthouse offers scenic views. Nature trails also are available.

Picnicking is permitted.
