Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre

Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre is 11 km (7 mi.) n. on Hwy. 118, then 17 km (11 mi.) n. on CR 7. A learning center presents videos with information about the history of wolves and has life-size displays showing the animals in their natural habitat. A 6-hectare (15-acre) compound has a resident pack of grey wolves; an observatory overlooks the enclosure and allows visitors a chance to see the animals, though sightings cannot be guaranteed.
