Kingston Trolley Tours depart from the Tourist Information Office in Confederation Park at 209 Ontario St., though you can hop on or off at any of the nine stops around the city: City Hall, the Royal Military College of Canada, Fort Henry National Historic Site, Springer Market Square, the Marine and Pumphouse Steam Museums, Bellevue House National Historic Site, Penitentiary Museum and Queen's University, with a final stop at the entertainment and retail district. A trolley passes each stop every 30 or 45 minutes. An evening Ghost and Mystery Tour also is available. The ticket booth is on the edge of Confederation Park at 1 Brock St.
One-day pass $26; $13 (ages 4-12). Two-day pass $36; $18 (ages 4-12). Ghost and Mystery Tour $27; $13.50 (ages 4-12). A 10 percent discount is offered to ages 65+ on weekdays. Various tour/cruise packages also are available.
Hours: Departures daily 9:30-4:30, July 1-Labour Day; 10-4:45, mid-May through June 30 and day after Labour Day-second Mon. in Oct. Ghost and Mystery Tour departs Wed.-Sun. at 7, July-Oct.
