Penitentiary Museum, 555 King St. W., with vehicle entrance off Sir John A. Macdonald Blvd., is on the grounds of the Kingston Penitentiary. Housed in the original warden's residence, the museum illustrates the history of Canadian penitentiaries through a variety of artifacts and documents. There are exhibits about methods of punishment, homemade weapons and prisoners' inventions of convenience.
