Gore Bay Museum

Gore Bay Museum is at the w. end of Dawson St. in Gore Bay, following signs. In a stone jail operational from the 1890s to the 1940s, the museum has the original jail cells, an eating table with inmate carvings in the wood and exhibits depicting pioneer and native life and rural law enforcement. Art exhibits feature local and regional artists.
