Huronia Museum, at the King St. entrance to Little Lake Park, specializes in Huron Indian artifacts and history. An active art gallery features the works of Group of Seven artist Franz Johnston as well as an extensive collection of photographs, period fashions and marine exhibits depicting the history of Georgian Bay. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Combination ticket for museum and Huron-Ouendat Village $10; $7 (ages 65+); $6 (ages 5-17).
Hours: Daily 9-5, mid-May to mid-Oct.; Mon.-Fri. 9-5, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Good Friday, Christmas and day after Christmas.
