Crysler Park, 11 km (7 mi.) e. on CR 2, is a beautifully landscaped park with a beach, rose garden, miniature railroad and marina. Queen Elizabeth Gardens features a collection of rare flowers. Monuments on the grounds honor the soldiers who fought in the Battle of Crysler's Farm, in which British and Canadian regulars defeated a much larger American force on Nov. 11, 1813.

Picnicking is permitted.

Park free. Beach $5.75; $4.25 (ages 65+); free (ages 0-12). Maximum per private vehicle $16.50. Rates may vary; phone ahead.
