Bird Kingdom, next to the Rainbow Bridge at 5651 River Rd., is a journey through a rain forest filled with more than 400 free-flying tropical birds representing close to 80 species from around the world as well as tropical foliage, ponds, streams, a 40-foot-high waterfall and a Javanese house. The conservatory features an indoor aviary, said to be the world's largest, where visitors can interact with birds and feed nectar to the lorikeet. The Night Jungle features nocturnal birds and animals. Daily bird and reptile encounters allow guests to hold such exotic creatures as snakes, tortoises, bearded dragons and parrots. Bat feedings also take place throughout the day.
