Bird Kingdom, next to the Rainbow Bridge at 5651 River Rd., is a journey through a rain forest filled with more than 400 free-flying tropical birds representing close to 80 species from around the world as well as tropical foliage, ponds, streams, a 40-foot-high waterfall, an authentic Javanese house and various exhibits. Said to be the world's largest indoor free-flying aviary, it enables visitors to interact with birds and feed nectar to the rainbow lorikeets. The Night Jungle features nocturnal creatures such as owls and bats. Daily bird and reptile encounters allow guests to hold parrots, snakes, tegus, tortoises and bearded dragons. Bat feeding demonstrations also take place twice daily.
