This chic dining room with its oversize banquettes and white marble tables creates a sophisticated atmosphere in which to enjoy one of the many European beers featured on tap or by the bottle. Food is prepared in an expansive open kitchen along the back wall of the dining room, and while simple, the focus is on quality fresh ingredients. Selections range from delicious pastas such as chicken and shrimp pesto penne, shrimp and asparagus pappardelle, and comforting spaghetti and meatballs. Also featured are traditional meat and fish dishes such as breaded veal, chicken topped with goat cheese and garlic-infused spinach, and salmon fillet. The house specialty, however, is the wood-fired pizzas. A lengthy list of options is offered, ranging from a basic marinara pizza with roasted garlic and fresh basil, to the more adventurous proscuitto, fig and asparagus pizza. If none of these are to your liking you can of course create your own or choose from among the many panini or ciabatta sandwich selections. Portion sizes are quite large, making many choices great for sharing.
