Blending seamlessly with the historic character and charm of the popular tourist village in which it's located, this 1835 inn lets you choose from a range of distinctive guest rooms. The décor is bright and cozy. Many rooms have three or four steps down into the room. You can easily get to shopping and the theater from here. Smoke free premises. 24 units, some two bedrooms and kitchens. 2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.

Pros: Classic hotel. Classic service.
Cons: Carpeted hallway and stairs as well as public areas could be more vintage and less 70's modern.

Pros: Location I great. You can walk to bars, restaurants, sights, theatres.
Cons: We stayed 2 years ago. It still needs to be redecorated. Dingy. No fridge in room. Safe did not work. So-so bed & pillows.
