Canadian Museum of Nature, 240 McLeod St. at Metcalfe St. in the historic Victoria Museum Memorial Building, depicts a journey through nature from the vanished world of dinosaurs to the habitats of contemporary birds, mammals and plants. Displays include hands-on exhibits, a 62-foot blue whale skeleton, live creepy crawlies and 3D movies. Food is available.
$13.50; $11.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $9.50 (ages 3-12). Combination ticket with museum and 3-D movie $17.50; $15.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $13.50 (ages 3-12). Combination ticket with museum and special exhibition $23.50; $18.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $16.50 (ages 3-12).
