AAA Editor Notes
Canadian Museum of Nature, 240 McLeod St. at Metcalfe St. in the historic Victoria Museum Memorial Building, depicts a journey through nature from the vanished world of dinosaurs to the habitats of contemporary birds, mammals and plants. Displays include hands-on exhibits, a 62-foot blue whale skeleton, live creepy crawlies and 3D movies.

$13.50; $11.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $9.50 (ages 3-12). Combination ticket with museum and 3-D movie $17.50; $15.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $13.50 (ages 3-12). Combination ticket with museum and special exhibition $23.50; $18.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $16.50 (ages 3-12). Combination ticket with museum, special exhibition and 3-D movie $25.50; $20.50 (ages 65+ and students 13+ with ID); $18.50 (ages 3-13).

$2.50 per half hour ($12 maximum); $5 flat rate after 4:30 p.m.

Daily 9-6 (also Thurs.-Fri. 6-8), June 1-Sept. 5; Tues.-Sun. and holiday Mon. 9-5 (also Thurs. 5-8), rest of year. Closed five days in early to mid-Jan., Christmas and day after Christmas; closed Christmas Eve at 2 and June 30 at 5. Schedule may vary; phone ahead.
