Pinhey's Point Historic Site is off Hwy. 412 exit 138, 8 km (5 mi.) n. on March Rd., 4 km (2.5 mi.) e. on Dunrobin Rd., then 5 km (3 mi.) n. on Riddel Dr. to 270 Pinhey's Point Rd. The two-story home of Hamnett Kirkes Pinhey was built in stages 1820-49 and reflects Pinhey's wealth and social status. Pinhey was a London importer who retired at age 35 and sought to reinvent himself as a landed gentleman.
