AAA Editor Notes
Muskoka Lakes Museum, on CR 118 in Island Park at 100 Joseph St., presents the area's history through changing and permanent exhibits. Highlights include the Hall Family Homestead, a two-story log cabin built in 1875; antique wooden rowboats, canoes and marine artifacts; and such various antiques as glassware, china, furniture, tools, postcards, photographs and toys.

$2.50; $2 (schoolchildren, students with ID and senior citizens); free (ages 0-5); $8 (family, two adults and two children).

Wed.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5, July-Aug.; Wed.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-4, Victoria Day weekend-June 30 and Sept. 1-second Mon. in Oct.; otherwise by appointment. Closed major holidays. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 30 minutes minimum.
