Port Dover Harbour Museum is at 44 Harbour St. The town's fishing industry is featured through exhibits, many of which are housed in an original fisherman's net shanty. Other displays include a replica of a 1912 freighter's wheelhouse and artifacts from a wrecked steamer that sank off Long Point in 1852. A retired 1932 tugboat is docked outside. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Daily 10-5, July-Aug.; Mon.-Fri. 10-4:30, Sat.-Sun. and holidays noon-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 2, Christmas and day after Christmas.
