AAA Editor Notes

Floral Clock, on Niagara Pkwy. at Sir Adam Beck Generating Station, is one of the world's largest floral clocks. About 15,000 plants that bloom from early spring to the first frost compose the 12-metre (40-ft.) in diameter working clock. Just north of the Floral Clock, opposite Smeaton's Cove, is the Centennial Lilac Garden. The garden's 4 hectares (10 acres) contain more than 700 shrubs with more than 200 varieties of lilacs; the plants bloom mid-May to mid-June.
Hours: The Floral Clock's Westminster chimes ring every 15 minutes.
