Within the museum are three historic buildings: the 1914 two-story log McCutcheon House; the 1861 Orange Lodge, a meeting place used by groups of Protestant Irish men; and Cromby Station, a Canadian Pacific Railway flagging station. The top of the silo provides a panoramic view of the countryside. An archives, an 1885 church and heritage gardens also are on the grounds.

Guided church tours are available.
