Cons: somewhere between the booking & registering our reservations were changed from a 5 adult suite to a 2 double bed room that was clearly only for 4 adults and the front desk was not accommodating until we threatened to leave & go to another location.our charge was for a suite & $50 more per night than the double bed room .if we go back to thunder bay we will book somewhere else

Cons: Breakfast was packed on the weekend we were there, and the only employee who kept it up also worked the front desk. Let's just say she was busy up at the desk and didn't have much time to re-stock the breakfast bar.

Cons: We had a problem with the fan . It was so loud when it came on at 430am it woke everyone up and it took over an hour for us to figure out how to turn it off. Noone came to assist & I believe we should have had a break on the room charge since we certainly didn't sleep well

Cons: Location was ok, close to to a Timmies and the Keg. Facilities are a bit old/dated, and the lighting made it appear a bit gloomy (at least to me). Room was cramped despite being the queen room with two queen beds. No microwave, elevator clunky and only on one end of the looong hallway.

Cons: Disappointed in the breakfast, there was only cereal, yogurt, toast, and waffles. Nothing hot like eggs or sausage. The waffle mix was extremely runny and didn't make very good waffles. The pool was pretty cold for my 3 year old. They would not give us an hour for late checkout when my 8 month old was sleeping in the room

Pros: Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
Cons: There were no stairs from second floor leading to lobby. Rather, we were forced to wait for a small elevator. We were happy to have an elevator when bringing luggage in/out, however stairs would have saved time for other travel within the hotel.
