Annandale National Historic Site is at 30 Tillson Ave. Built in the 1880s in the Aesthetic style by E.D. Tillson, the first mayor of Tillsonburg, and his wife Mary Ann, the restored house features three floors with period rooms as well as galleries with changing exhibits about local history. Highlights of the home are hand-painted ceilings, inlaid floors, wall coverings, ornate mantles and stained glass.
$6; $5 (ages 65+); $3.50 (students with ID); $2.50 (ages 6-12); $12 (family, two adults and school-age children).
Hours: Mon.-Fri. 9-4, Sat. noon-4, Sun. 1-4, July-Aug.; Mon.-Fri. 9-4, Sun. 1-4, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1, Good Friday, Easter, Easter Monday, second Mon. in Oct., Christmas Eve, Christmas, day after Christmas and Dec. 31.
