Centreville Amusement Park is on Centre Island; take the Centre Island Ferry from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal at 9 Queens Quay W., at the foot of Bay St. This is a late 19th- early 20th-century style family-oriented amusement park. It has more than 30 rides, most geared toward younger children, including an antique carousel, a roller coaster, arcades, miniature golf and Far Enough Farm, with a variety of animals to pet. Food is available.
Free. $1.05 per individual ride ticket (rides require multiple tickets); $25 for 25 ride tickets; $60 for 65 ride tickets. All-day ride passes $39 (over 122 cm or 48 in. tall); $28 (0-122 centimetres or 0-48 in. tall); $120 (family, four members, including at least one adult). Additional fee for ferry crossing.
Hours: Park open daily at 10:30, June 1-Labour Day; Sat.-Sun. at 10:30 in May and day after Labour Day-late Sept. (weather permitting). Closing times vary; phone ahead.
