City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square, n.w. corner of Queen and Bay sts., is a striking complex created by Finnish architect Viljo Revell. The domed structure flanked by two curved office towers serves as council chambers.

The reflecting pool, in Nathan Phillips Square in front of City Hall, becomes a skating rink in winter. The square includes landscaping, a garden to explore on the Green Podium Roof and a theatre stage. It is a forum for festivals, concerts, art shows and civic ceremonies. Henry Moore's sculpture “The Archer” is among the complex's works of art.
