Pros: Excellent location for visiting family in TO. Walking distance to the beach. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers hot and strong.Breakfast adequate for continental style.
Cons: A microwave would have been nice.

Pros: It was close to the event and unfortunately, the only hotel close toBuskerfest.
Cons: Staff were awful and rude. Asked for extra pillows, the guy looked upfrom his phone and said "there are 4 in the room, that's all youget" and went back to his phone. I found q-tips in the bathroom from the previous tenants. I didn't see them till my last day. I moved the bin and found them tucked in the corner under the sink. This made me gag because now I want to know if they changed the pillow cases and washed the blanket that I used. I've stayed in some dingy places around the world (including Africa & Inida) but this was the worst. I have food sensitivities and the only thing I could eat was apples and boiled eggs which were so over cooked, they crumbled. Coffee tasted like dishwater.

Pros: The location is very handy for a family trip to the lakeside beach 10 mins walk. The Beaches Village is a nice mix of a lot of shops to suit everyone, 2 mins on tram. There is a lovely open air complex of swimming pools free of charge where you can also change to go on to the first class beach area. The staff in the pool area are very pleasant and welcoming. The tram into Toronto stops outside the accommodation and is a relaxing 15min trip which will drop you off at the lovely Eaton shopping centre. Buy a weekly family pass for the best value which allows you to travel on the buses and some underground services as well as the trams. It was nice to get away from the city centre to a quieter area at night.
Cons: The breakfast facilities are very basic with plastic cutlery and paper bowls provided. We ignored the inclusive breakfast and purchased some bowls and cereal to dine in our room. When you go to the beaches village you will find convenience stores etc. The room is very basic but is manageable if you are not after a good grade hotel.

Pros: The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, the beds were extremely comfortable, very quiet location - we all had a good night sleep
Cons: The parking was limited and tight. The room was a bit small, the bathroom was tight. The chairs were regular chairs. Would need a good comfortable easy chair to relax in after a long day of activity
