Pros:
Cons: The property announced after booking was made that it was undergoing a change of name and the fact it was carrying out room refurbs, which is all fine however it meant that noisy works started at 7am and the there was strong paint smell throughout our floor and room. Also found the staff pretty unresponsive, it took a combination of 7 phone calls (only 4 of which were actually answered) to obtain a menu to make a room service order.. the menu finally arrived after 4 requests and approx. 1hr wait.. the room service itself was ok but certainly not worth the very high price.

Pros: Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, bathroom was clean but could certainly be spruced up a bit - appeared old and "tired".
Cons: The hallway to where my room was located on was obviously under repair - very scary with the wiring etc. being opened up - also dirty looking carpet - I was worried to see my room, however that was fine. It would also have been helpful to have signage on the wall to advise which rooms are in which direction as well as signage as to which direction to turn to return to the elevator. I did wander the wrong way a few times.
