As you walk up the steep stairway to the second floor of this popular Yorkville eatery, you are already getting the sense of Europe. Photos of Paris and paintings of cafés and bakeries set the tone. This theme continues in the narrow cozy dining room set with white tablecloths and fresh, colorful flowers. The chef here has mastered the craft of cooking with eggs. An entire section of the menu has been devoted to freshly made omelets, as well as the ever popular quiche of the day. I always find the steak and frites bring me back to France. With a delightful French accent, the server makes the freshly prepared tarts and pastries irresistible. Ooh la la.
