The Edison Museum of Vienna is off Hwy. 19, following signs, to 14 Snow St. The museum is in an 1853 house on land once owned by the Edison family. Thomas Edison's grandparents were village founders, and the future inventor spent many childhood summers in Vienna. The museum features Edison artifacts and furniture, some donated by Edison's cousin. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
$2; free (ages 0-12 with adult).
Hours: Daily 10-5:30, Victoria Day-Labour Day; by appointment rest of year.
