AAA Editor Notes
Rose House Museum is at 3333 CR 8. Guides, sometimes dressed in period garb, lead visitors through this Loyalist pioneer home, built in 1804 using beams and lumber from the Lutheran Church that was formerly on the property. Lived in by five generations of the Rose family, the home offers a glimpse into early 19th-century life. Genealogical information is available.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
